It is seeking to recruit a professionally trained nurse. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Responsibilities <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022Identify patient care requirements <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022Provide appropriate health care services including IMCI, PMTCT, and ANC\/PNC <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022Establish patient care goals; teaching patient, friends, and family to understand the condition, medications, and self-care skills; answering questions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022Adhere to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following hospital and nursing division\u2019s philosophies and standards of care as guided by regulatory bodies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022Resolve patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with Laid down guidelines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022Document patient care services by charting and using an electronic medical records system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022Maintain continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022Prepare daily reports and other reports as requested. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Qualifications <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u221a Degree\/Diploma in Nursing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u221a Nursing clinical experience in a similar position <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u221a Registration certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u221a Valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u221a Excellent communication, interpersonal, and attention to detail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n How to Apply <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n If you are interested in the above position and meet the requirements, apply before the close of business on 18th December 2020. <\/p>\n\n\n\n NB: All Candidates should have their valid practicing licenses available for inspection during the interview. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Interested candidates should send a copy of an updated resume, three referees of which two (2) should be professionals, to hr@riverjordanmedicalcenter.com<\/strong>, quoting the job title. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. <\/p>\n
