The River Jordan Medical Centre is one of the leading Healthcare facilities in Voi town, Taita Taveta county. It is seeking to recruit a professionally trained nurse. The qualified candidate is to take up the position of the Nurse In-charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Responsibilities<\/strong>
\u2022 Identify patient care requirements
\u2022 Establish a healing environment by providing support to patients.
\u2022 ORGANISE AND PLAN appropriate health care services including outpatient, inpatient, surgical, maternity, ANC\/PNC, among others.
\u2022 Establish and organize patient care plans;
\u2022 organize and enable health talks within the hospitals
\u2022 ensure Adherence to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards;
\u2022 ensure nursing standard operating procedures are followed as guided by regulatory bodies.
\u2022 Resolve patient complaints and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
\u2022 PARTICIPATE in staff disciplinary committee
\u2022 Adhere to national guidelines on IPC
\u2022 Document patient care services by charting and using electronic medical records system.
\u2022 Maintain continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
\u2022 Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
\u2022 Prepare daily reports and other reports on performance of nursing dept.
\u2022 Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications<\/strong>
\u2022 Degree\/Diploma in Nursing.
\u2022 At least 5 years\u2019 Nursing clinical experience in a similar position
\u2022 Registration certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
\u2022 Valid practicing license from Nursing Council of Kenya.
\u2022 Excellent communication, interpersonal and attention to detail.
