The Premier Breast Cancer Awareness Forum

The River Jordan Medical center partnered with Tsavo Media Group and other stakeholders on 30^th October to commemorate the Breast Cancer Awareness Month through the premier Breast Cancer Awareness Forum. The forum was held at the Red Elephant Bistro and lasted through the morning of October 30^th hosting different members of the community.

The main focus of the forum was to create awareness on breast cancer and sensitize members of the public on the need for screening. Attendees were offered free screening and other complimentary services by our staff. Dr. Eunice Wahome, CEO River Jordan Medical Center helped answer questions from attendees on breast cancer and other related issues. The talk was spearheaded by Voi4iov director and senior columnist at voi2day.com Lillian Mumbua and it helped enlighten attendees on the health benefits of regular checkups.

The forum was held in partnership with the Sote hub, Tsavo Air Limited, VSO, Royal Occasions, Dibarts Enterprises and Gracious Tents and Sounds. The forum was part of the River Jordan Medical Center’s broad CSR programs which aim at giving back to the community through creating awareness. The forum ended at around one pm. This was the premier forum on breast cancer and the RJMC family is looking forward to many more forums in which our experts share their knowledge with members of the community.
